About Salt

Salt Publishing does not accept unsolicited submissions from authors. Literary agents can email submissions, and silence after one month means no. Literary fiction is at the heart of its list.

Salt Publishing was founded in 1999 and is based in Cromer, North Norfolk. Literary fiction is at the heart of its list, alongside crime, historical fiction, gothic and horror, psychological thrillers, science fiction and narrative nonfiction, with a special interest in life writing.

Salt reads submissions only from literary agents, sent digitally. It helps if the author lives in the British Isles and can take part in events and promotion.
