About Forward Movement

Forward Movement is open to proposals for Christian resources on prayer, Bible study and church life. Follow its New Resources guidelines and submit through the online form; review takes four to eight weeks. Readers are mainly Episcopal and Anglican adults.

Forward Movement is a Christian publisher based at 412 Sycamore Street in Cincinnati, Ohio. It creates resources for discipleship and evangelism on prayer, Bible study, spiritual practices, leadership, church traditions and emerging trends. Most of its work serves an Episcopal and Anglican audience, though some titles reach wider. It publishes in English and Spanish, in print, ebook, PDF, podcast, online course and app formats, and has produced Forward Day by Day since 1935.

Proposals for new resources are open. The New Resources guidelines on its submissions page lead to an online form that asks for a synopsis, audience, similar works, a short bio and a completion date, plus the table of contents, introduction and two sample chapters for a book. Editorial review takes four to eight weeks. Its main readers are adults in the pews, along with clergy. Forward Day by Day meditations have separate guidelines, and Spanish language proposals go through the contact form.
