Questions about Northwestern Publishing House

Does Northwestern Publishing House accept manuscripts from new authors?

Yes. Northwestern Publishing House reads manuscripts sent directly by authors, with no agent needed. Email the work as an attachment or mail a printed copy, with a short description, your contact details and a note that it is not under review anywhere else.

How long does Northwestern Publishing House take to review a manuscript?

Northwestern Publishing House takes about two months to review a manuscript. It answers by email, or by letter if you do not give an email address. Printed manuscripts and music are not returned, so keep copies. Do not send the work to anyone else or self-publish it while you wait.

Can I send my book to other publishers at the same time?

No. Northwestern Publishing House asks you to confirm the work is not under review anywhere else. It also asks you not to self-publish the book while it is being reviewed. If you want to try several publishers at once, wait until Northwestern Publishing House has answered.
