About Sounds True

Sounds True is open to book proposals, not full manuscripts, by email to acquisitions@soundstrue.com. Follow its nonfiction proposal outline. It publishes spirituality, mind-body health and spiritually oriented self-help, and replies within two to three months only if interested.

Sounds True is a publisher founded in 1985 that publishes books and spoken-word audio on spirituality, religion, mind-body health, transpersonal psychology, spiritually oriented self-help and science and spirit. It has published unsolicited titles, and it launched a children’s book division after Good Night Yoga.

Authors send a book proposal that follows its nonfiction proposal outline, not a full manuscript. Audio submissions are for published authors only, and it does not take unsolicited music or online courses. Sounds True responds within two to three months, but only to projects it is interested in.
