Questions about Clarity Press

Does Clarity Press accept unsolicited manuscripts?

It accepts unsolicited queries, not full manuscripts. Email a synopsis, author bio, annotated table of contents, notes on special features and marketing, and possible endorsers. Do not attach a full manuscript or send one by mail. The press focuses on nonfiction about global justice, human rights and geopolitics.

How do I submit to Clarity Press?

Email your query to claritypress@usa.net for the attention of Diana G. Collier. Include a synopsis, a short bio, an annotated table of contents, what makes the book special, how it could be marketed and any endorsers you could approach. Keep everything in the email rather than sending the whole book.

How long does Clarity Press take to reply?

Clarity Press gives no reply time. It says it reviews every submission but will respond only if interested. If you hear nothing after a reasonable wait, treat it as a pass and approach other independent nonfiction publishers that cover politics and world affairs.
